So Far So Good
I bought this for my annual trip to Jackson, WY.  We went hill climbing in Alpine during a heavy powder day.  This jacket kept me completely dry despite 24  inches (of heavy wet snow! temp was 28-33F above).  I also went to the village skiing during another powder day (btw jackson is getting slammed right now...) and it held up excellent for skiing as well not too bulky, perfect pockets for my gear, etc.  Returned home to Minnesota and now I'm 'testing' it out in the cold.  Morning low was -36.  You have to layer of course, but the venting is excellent and the jacket so far keeps the biting wind/cold where it should be - outside.   I hadn't planned on wearing this as a daily but considering the lightweight nature of this jacket, it makes sense  in the extreme cold conditions we are currently experiencing.  I would recommend for backcountry ski/sledding as well as a great non bulky outer layer if you do happen to live in extreme cold.

- Mike from Minnesota.
